Any way I can check my Sky dish alignment ?

I have had some builders working on the side of my house and I think they may have moved my Sky dish out of alignment.

We are losing signal a lot when it rains for example.

Is there any way I can check it (I can easily get to it from my garage roof) or do I need to call in someone?

get yourself a satellite signal level meter and tweak the dish to get a decent signal.

You can do this using the signal meter on one of the setup pages on the sky box, but it needs two people and a lot of shouting or a mobile phone.

Also check the waterproofing of all the cable connections at the LNB end to make sure a bit of dampness isn't getting into the connectors.
oh and clean the dish and the receive face of the LNB, a dirty dish and LNB can make a hell of a difference to the signal!
