when i go to start menu i click on i/e (browse the internet)the page i get is telling me i/e is running without add ons,also the top bar informs me i/e is running with add ons disabled,i click on tools but the manage add ons is not highlighted therefore i cannot enable,
how do i overcome this so as add ons are enabled .

My first thought on this is you have been infected by either a virus or some spy/malware.

Run a full system scan with you antivirus software and download and install adaware and run a full scan with that too

thanks for the reply ,i did a full pc guard scan this morning it was all ok,also i did a full one care scan that was ok,now ive just gone to tools thro the answerbank page still on view and the manage addons was highlighted.all addons r enabled for i/e so i cannot see why i cannot get the i/e brose page.
