All of a sudden this afternoon, I've started getting an alert message on my Internet Explorer browser for the BBC.co.uk homepage advising "This website wants to run the following add-on: 'Microsoft Vector Graphics Rendering (VML)' from 'Microsoft Corporation' ".

What is this? and Why has this started to happen all off a sudden?

Thanks in advance for any responses,
