Error reports

My Lotus Organiser which I use frequently now comes up with an error report which I can choose to send or not send. I send it, supposedly to Microsoft,but nothing ever gets done about it. My organiser has been out of action for over 3 weeks.
There seems to be no way of finding out exactly what the problem is or how to deal with it. I'm concerned that lots of information will be lost as even my back up file is affected. Any advice would be appreciated
