Well this is a nice place, I approve! Oh what a night, we got hit by a bolt of lightning, the main (new expensive ) Tv set was hit as was the desktop computer. I was up for 1 hour sorting out the telly but to everyone's relief I got it working again, and then spent all night worry and wondering if Mr N would pay to have computer repaired. Then he came trotting into the bedroom at 8.30 and said he'd got that going, what a relief that was. And to think I used to live here without leccy or water in the old days, how things have changed.

Lovely news about the ring jude, shouldn't have charged you anything!!!

Right swedie, you clever thing, go and complain to that hotel Riga Kungsgarten, where we were overbooked and see if you can get me a freebie hol there, yay would love it there now!

Good luck Charlie Dog. we are very fond of you so let everything be Ok!!

Hi to the rest of you!
Oh btw, who ate all the choccies and crisps, all I can see are empty packets strewn everywhere??????

<<<< chucks an old string bikini in the bran tub, well can't waste money >>>>
Morning. Does anyone still hear anything from Cetti. She was so lovely.

A fleeting visit. Not sure whether GH (work it out!!) is working from home or not today. He is at present being seen too at the physios. So might be back later.

Freezing cold, icy east wind, but no more snow overnight. It may be concentrating on jno now.

I haven't caught up with chat yet. xx
Just a quick call in. Son just left in my car because it's a front wheel drive and will get up his hill better than his posh BMW.......would you believe. He complained all night that my house is cold but he was wearing hardly anything warm. And I'm so mad, he has started smoking again after 20 years. Since him and his wife parted, I think it was the stress. So he was nipping outside every now and then so no wonder he was cold.
Have to nip down the local (not the pub) so will call and get something for the tub!!
Have a good day everyone see yer later 'gater(s) and keep warm...x

Good morning all, yes Sweedie is a star isn't she?
Cold with a dusting of snow here and more expected. It was freezing and blizzarding earlier so me and the dogs went back to bed and woke again at half past nine!!!!

here's a nice way to amuse yourselves

phew, thank goodness there aren't any dwarfs in this cave, I was getting tired of having to sweep up after hobbits. Some of them left rings lying around, probably from Sweden - they had Smeagol stamped on the back, that's probably some Swedish mine, isn't it?

Cetti's got an avatar, and she was last active in August
A'noon...another 2 to 3 inches of snow overnight, grrrrr, but the roads are clear-ish, quiet & moving so we made it there and back. I did think of postponing, (fuzzy) eyes said 'you must be mad to go out ' but instinct said 'do it'...Just a case of keeping Chas on the meds for the forseeable...and pray to anyone who'll listen that he stays well.
The sky keeps looking heavy & it's snowing a bit again now.... oh pee po belly bum, we really don't want this.
And stay safe Sweedie, I can guess just how you must be feeling after reading your link. I'll put in a cosmic order for a thaw. I don't want anything for xmas apart from peace of mind & good health for all of us.

I'll mail Cetti later to see how she is, haven't heard from her in a very long time tho'

great news about Chas. Have just been out for the papers and odds and sods and we are now snuggled up at home. I ahve a cup of fruit tea, DH is pottering on his lappy and dogs are snoring. In a minute we are going to get the decs out of tha attic.....perfect and I a grateful. Robi, Chas (and all of you and your beloveds actually) are on my nightly bothering list.
Thanks woofy, I do believe there's some strength in collective prayer actually, I'm just not sure who's listening :o)...like Jude, I'm worried about my youngest son too, he's been down lately, I wish he could meet someone nice to give him a boost.
I only put a squatty little tree up with some lights on it & a bit of tinsel here & there but I really should have a good clean before I do that...this house looks like a herd of wildebeest live here at the moment.
Woofy, snuggled up at yur place sounds perfictk to me!

Robi, I say that I should clean before the decs go up every year, and then I say, nah, I'll do it when they come down!! Good old Charlie, yes collective prayer is great,, Let us all kneel....................................
Question Author
with these knees? I don't think so....

Ahhh Lovely piccie Robi. Charlie looking for somehwere to 'P'. Love it!!
Your garden looks lovely even with the snow on it too. The sun didn't stay long this morning did it? When I was walking to the post office I could see this circle of blue sky slowing disappearing in snow clouds all round it.
The ring saga continues and things are looking up and I may get it yet with Kits very kind help. The man in the post office was in stitches laughing at my excitement he said 'Calm down dear' in that voice you hear on the telly. (Michael Winner I think)
Cuppa tea time now methinks. Bye for now....Biddyfriends......snuggle up and keep warm.
oooh this is cosy...(unloads 10 crates of becks into the bran tub):O) father christmas was walking down fore street about 10 past 4 and he was last seen in the pub..he;s gonna be in a right state come xmas eve..!This is a drawing somebody did for me birthday..amazing art.
