How do I delete things from C drive, it keeps saying memories low

Download TreeSizeFree which will instantly tell you how much data is located in each folder. Only delete stuff of which you are certain that are not part of your operating system. If in doubt, leave it.

Probably best to fit an extra HDD to your computer (easy) for storage.

Carlton, if you feel uncomfotable adding a HDD to the computer and can't borrow the neighbour's geek kid, get yourself one of those external hard drives. There are small ones (small in physical size) available that use two USB plugs and get all the power and data exchange from that. No need to plug it in the power even.
There are some 2½" ones one the market that fit in your pocket and are very affordable.

wildwood, I was under the impression it was better to get one with it's own external power [adaptor] source? But then i only have a few USB sockets

It may not be your C drive memory but your RAM memory that is low.

What message do you get (exact words) and when do you get it.

need to see how much space is on C drive before you get to carried away, might not be the answer...

Deleting stuff from your C drive will not give you any more memory, however it will give you more drive space. if you need more memory you probably need to get more ram . to delete stuff from your C drive, just uninstall unused programmes and store all files you dont need so often on CD/DVD and delete them from your PC. You need to be accurate about what the message actually says and what you are doing at the time to prompt this message.

I have noticed chuck. Totally confused me with all the external hard drive stuff!! I need to delete from phone, I dont have extra games or music and all my numbers are saved to sim. I bought an SD card for images and it still says memory low
