msn messenger

I have MSN messenger. When you click on the sign in button you get the username and password window. On the username dropdown are all teh previous usernames that friends who have used the PC on odd occasions listed. Is there any way to remove them as I do not want them in the dropdown everytime I need to select one of my own. Hope this makes sense. Thanks

I have no idea if this would work but I'd try one of those internet cleaner progs (I have "Tracks Eraser Pro") which erase your cache, auto complete history, recently viewed documents history etc. as having looked in the Program Files and one or two other folders for Messenger there's nothing there which would indicate a user history.
I realise that this is a bit of an obtuse answer but perhaps it's better than no answer at all.
