Its persisting down here...even idiot Rab who doesn't know enough to come in out of the rain (seriously) came in. The rabbit is still around making the dogs very excited. I phoned our local rabbit rescue lady today who said that at the moment while food is plentiful, I stand no chance of catching him and he'll have to take his chances. She said by the way he's behaving he probably has been free for some time and is coping well. If he is still around in the autumn/winter when food gets scarcer, I might be able to catch him.
Shaney not being snotty but anyone who gives their email to someone who says "lets discuss it offline" shouldn't be allowed out on their own...its on a par with "my wife doesn't understand me" and "just one more drink, you are safe with me"

Jude you are so sweet, nice and caring, but don't waste your sympathy on me, I'm a whinger. Have a big bruise on my other leg now cos I must have hit it when I fell down.

Found a perfectly nice computer chair at the rubbish, with a few cat hairs so it's been Henried, shampooed with Pets shampoo, dettoled, and sprayed and is now installed at home, very nice and smart.

Have already had a swim, it's so hot now.

Yes Miss Marple was a bit convluted
From what I could make out ( I became a bit confused too ) The mother had had an affair with her husbands brother in China .He was a bad egg by all acounts and went on to murder his brother .She then married the bad egg brother and had two chidren by him and he got her addicted to opium
She obviously had two children by him but she'd also had two children by the first brother who he ( bad egg brother ) shuffled off to an orphange .They then came back years later ,found her and wreaked their revenge.

Oh dear I left the door open when I left earlier, have you all been in a draught? So sorry, I'll slap you all over with the algipan tomorrow. I've been in the garden, walked up and down several times, stared at things...and that's it really. The birds are very busy, I could watch them all day but I think they're watching me more. Whenever I'm in the back passageway one particular blackbird comes and stands just outside the door on the patio and looks at me as if to say 'Got any raisins in there please mrs?' :o).
So if you were all Miss Marpling last night you wouldn't have seen the raven on Springwatch Unsprung? He was hilarious.

Yes, steer clear, it's turned a bit ugly in there but I like the way Ed's dealing with it. What's the obsession with contacting the police? I don't think anyone knows who I am...even I don't know that. :o)

Had me hair cut, been to Morrisons and sat down with local paper to read whilst I had lunch. Oh dear, first thing I read is a about a local lady aged 61 who has died from a rare complaint 'Bird fanciers Lung', which is what I have!!! I now it is very often a fatal disease, but I didn't want to read about it today.

Have my appointment for my hernia. 27th June 3.15pm.

Shall now start worrying again!!!

Wow it's all happening here. First a sparrow flew into my house then tried to get out of my closed kitchen window. I managed to open it and out he went. The I was sitting here on my lap top (not literally) when a head popped up over my fence and a man said 'excuse me have you seen a parrot'. I'd heard people running up and down for a while then this man with some steps came along and looked over everyones fence asking about his parrot. He says it can't fly very well and is sure it wont be far away but I've not spotted it yet.
It's not been too bad a day weatherwise here. It started to rain about an hour ago but just blew over. I'm packing for both kinds of weather next week. Couple of jumpers and a jacket with a hood.
Going to watch the last of Spring Watch tonight. Is anybody else?
