webcam software

evening all,

my dad has a logitech pro4000 webcam, but cannot find the cd to install the software onto his laptop,
can what he needs be found on the internet (free) do you know please?
weve tried looking, but neither of us are too sure what we are looking for...?

can anyone help please?

Look at list for software to use .. Quickcam 8.4 or 10.5 ...

Download from table ... (10.5 if XP or Vista)

I just don't know what you get with the Logitech software ...
I plug in my DV cam as a webcam .. but the picture is absolutely huge! : )

help! ... where do i go/what do i do when ive chosen the actual camera - pro4000 ... chosen the 10.5 one ... but its bringing up lots of pages to choose from...? what now please albags?

after the download had finished it asked if i wanted to open or open folder.

did i need to do anything then?

has it all been installed now?

and the last link you gave me, the clean up one, what do i click and need to do with that one please?

Needed to clean before intalling new software ...
Where is the new file downloaded to? Can you see it? It is called qc1051enu.exe
Run that AFTER you have followed the clean install directions .. pretty please! Just follow those instructions to remove any old stuff.
No need to download anything else.
