There's numerous combinations, all much of a muchness

If I didn't want to do the Monument/Bank or Tower Hill/Gateway transfer, I'd get the District/Circle Line to Westminster, the Jubilee Line to Canning Town and join the DLR there.
As Dzug2's post makes reference to, Monument and Bank are effectively a single station.

That's definitely the route which I'd take. (Circle Line eastbound to Monument. Follow the DLR signs from there, and then take a train to Woolwich Arsenal).

cheers. how long will that take?
I would just take a tube to Charing Cross and take a train from there.
All the routes seem to take about 40-45 minutes

The Bank interchange is not recommended at the moment as Bank station is in the midst of rebuilding
