Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Morning...dull and chilly. Yesterday the sun didn't make an appearance here until teatime which wasn't much help, I'd felt wiped out all day.
After much analysis I've concluded that many of my problems are hormone related, (well, lack of them) it all fits. I want them back....grrrr.

No woofy, he's doing the best he can really, it's just 'me'. I know I've always felt low grade fluish at this time of year and it's been more so since I stopped hrt probably due to added age related things. Hey ho, things can only get better....lol...must think positive.

Don't you hate it when YouTube block videos. Mark Goodier played Mike Oldfield's On Horseback earlier, not heard it for years, but yt say neigh.

Do any of you get an overwhelming feeling of rage? It's a good thing I have self control and it soon passes. Yesterday I (accidentally) caught a bit of Elaine Paige's (ugh!) radio show and she played that Defying Gravity(?) song. I could easily have smashed the radio into a million pieces. :)

It's a real feel of 9C here and it's blowing a gale .We've put the heating on.
I bet any grockles have soon scuttled of back to whence they came if they have any sense. I had a rage moment earlier.
Next door have gone out, I think, and all the rubbish from their bin has landed in our front garden so we had to go and pick and bag it all up.Mr S was annoyed .Why do they have to jam it so full that the top flies back and it all blows about.I dumped the bag by the bin 'cos when I looked in it there were maggots ...ugh.

Oh yuk shaney. It was ok here for while, the sun came out, but someone was doing some squealy diy and there were squealy kids a few houses away so I came in.

Morning all
I'm earlier than the early birds ,must be a first .Horrendous weather which woke me up .The road out there is like a river,chucking it down,clapping with thunder and lightning flashing away. I never used to worry about storms but these days I get really jittery for some reason.Nothing for it but to make tea and toast and hope it soon stops.

Good morning all. Gosh you are up early shaney. I'd love to hear a real thunderstorm but they make me nervous cos the roof leaks and the electricity always goes off !
Summer has started although we didn't have a winter maybe 2 days and that was it.
I have a stiff neck, annoying.

Morning...wish I'd looked in shaney, I was awake too, I'd only slept from 11 to 1am. There were gusts of wind and I think the tv ariel's loosening again, there was an annoying rumble that seemed to override radio/cd/youtube attempts to distract me. I did get a couple more hrs from 5-7 but I feel ragged. The wind's wild on and off. Hope the mowerer hurries up before it rains.
The bees are back in the wall, I clean forgot about having the hole filled.
sigh I might have to start drinking and smoking.

Morning all ..again
Not long surfaced .It's been awful and still raining although not so torrential.
Looks as if it's moving westwards so hang on to your hat Robinia.
Lot of damage round and about too.Power out in places and localised flooding.
During the last storm during April there was a house not far from here struck by lightning and they lost their roof ,luckily the people were not badly hurt.
I've got a stonking headache and it's clinic day :(
