Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Just cruising by to say goodnight .I've been a bit busy with one thing and another and in a muddle.I wish I could whizz along a bit quicker and get things done like I used to.Not been a bad day weatherwise although the evening crowned the day.Glad you're feeling better Neti. Keep taking the tablets.
Don't forget to turn the light off in the fridge Robinia :)
It's lights out here ,night all.
I am being told that Shaney has posted but I can’t see it
oh now I see it. back to overcast and sticky here with a big lump of nastiness coming up from cornwall. Bang goes my plans for the day, dogs need cuddling instead
Clouded up here now too Woofy .Think we might get some rain any minute now.But luckily it kept dry for the child with a chain saw and he sawed through the two scrubby trees like butter ,chopped 'em all up and they are now in the mini skip. I can easily find some more bits to fill it.Plus he didn't want paying to do it !
I fed him a fry up and he's gone off happy with some food goodies. ."In future mother just say before you ask cowboys" ..lol ...I don't like to put on him all the time though but he's a helpful son.
Hope you're all ok .I'm tired out just watching others work :)

Hello all. Feel not so good today, awful pain in chest and round back. But have washed all settee lose covers and got them back on, did shopping, had coffee, cleaned house, prepared dinner washed and ironed 2 loads of bedding, did colouring in of hijas workclothes as I had bleached them and booked a hotel for sisters when they come in October. Watched Thats Entertainment, love it.

Good morning everyone. Hope you all have a good day!
hello all, grey and cool here.
Morning all...dull, chilly and windy. Yesterday was abysmal, my algia's flared up big time stylie which in turn makes my insides irritable. sigh
The mini demolition mob came to liven me up for a while. Had to resort to putting cbeebies on to keep them still for longer than a nano second :) I know what you mean shaney about asking sons to do things. I casually mentioned the noises I'd heard in the loft and Tarquin was up there before I'd finished explaining. He said there was no evidence of anything and thankfully no damage except for a hole in the mortar (where the bees were coming and going) so he's coming back to fill it in. Guess what? I heard it again this morning. Tut.

Haha, love the song jno, I didn't know that one. My bro loved Tommy Steele.
Robi have you got an arial attached to your roof? I thought I had got loft residents and it turned out to be the arial making noise in even a light breeze
Yes woofy, my aerial does rumble a bit when the wind's coming from the north/east, I had it 'fixed' a few years ago but I think it's working loose again. That's not it though, this is a light scratching in one area and only in the mornings I think, I haven't noticed it during the day.
Morning all
It's me Robinia ,scratching to get in :)
Bit grey out there and very breezy.
Today's tip.Don't keep tube of shower cream and tube of shampoo together in the bath tray or you end washing your hair with Fenjal .
Hope you're all ok .
Well don't come crashing through the ceiling Mrs S :)
Haha, yes, I've done things like that in the bathroom. I do love Fenjal though, it's my favourite everyday range. I use most of the products, I stock up when it's on offer in Boots.
My tip is don't clean the windows with Dettox spray unless you want them obscured for about a week :)

My worse mistake was hair laquer instead if intimate spray,
Its getting even hotter, unbearable, we drove to Figuerettes in Ibizs and found a little mexican restaurant open, was very nice. Not tex mex. Mr n had the aircon blasting all the way.

Just went out to get the washing in and found it unbearably hot. 36° in the shade. Can't cope.
eek - just watching a squirrel in the garden, but when it turned round it didn't have a furry tail. Rat poison alert!

The neighbours have just demolished a jungle in their garden so I suppose it's lost its home.
I get them here. I have to be very careful about how much birdfood I put out and have had to stop having any kind of compost heap. I let the dogs hunt round the garden as much as they like to make it inhospitable but still they come.
osteo is coming to visit.

OH sent a txt msg saying "park in the driveway". Predictive text made this "park in the Netherlands".

Ah, technology.
bit of a walk then Jno?
A'noon...another grey, damp day but it looks hopeful. Very muggy and headachey though.

Oh no, rodents in the land of clogs and windmills?....altogether now...
going clip clippety clop on the stairs
