Electricity In Dubai?
Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

Up and running again with a new screen which is very nice ,one of those wide ones.My bro took me to Argos this morning to buy it and it was easy enough to plug it in etc.Nice not to have to scroll from side to side anymore The other one was practically a museum piece .
It's been a lovely day here,pleasantly warm once the early nip in the air wore off.
It's amazing what you can do though with a day with no internet .I cleaned and tidied the pantry and put all jars and stuff into organisers with handles that I can pull out from high shelves.I bought them ages ago and they've just been sat there.Also found the vegetable knife I lost about a month ago and wrote two letters.
Gosh you're posh with all those teevees Neti.We only have one television set in the house. Hope you're all ok and I'll say goodnight all.

Good morning. Gosh you were busy shaney, my shelves need sorting but am waiting for the weather to cool a bit.
Was up half the night as hija was partying and decided to c9me home at 3am to collect her hand luggage and ticket ( she is flying to Barca in the morning) so she could go clubbing and then on to airport,,so of course I was wide awake. Then Mr N had indigestion for a few hours so, I was convinced he was having a heart attack so lay awake waiting for it. Seems OK now. My chest still hurts like mad.
Our desktop computer was bought in 1999 and is very slow but that's the one attached to the printer!

Bit overcast but dry.Haha ,yes quite busy Neti but that's me lot now until Christmas :)
I did use the tablet to look up a couple of things but it's a pain typing on it and I only really use it to watch catch up in bed or listen to radio plays,comedies and browse about on the internet.I've got a few books on it but prefer a proper book.
Hope you're all ok and behaving .Don't forget I can see you in wide screen now :)

Mostly sunny, and blue sky, we had a lot of rain last night. It's amazing what you can do by avoiding the internet and having a sister come and help with things. She brought her mower and did the grass for me, no sign of the gardener for almost five weeks and it was up to the pigeons necks. We did a bit of pruning too, everything's gone berserk this year....or I'm shrinking.
Got an annoying sinussy headache so today I'll mostly be on light duties... very light.

Hija has landed in Barca, so am going to relax and have a siesta now as feel rough. Have taken her laptop in to be mended as the cover is bent. Had a quick cofree. Mr N has chopped the algroba tree right back, it's amazing how much lighter it is. Both had a swim and it is freezing! Hija says it is cold in Barca too.

That's good Woofy .It's always a bit of a worry until you get the results.I got recalled once and went into panic mode but it was just a duff plate, blurred or something.

Good day all. Still too damned hot. Mr N has shorn the second algroba tree and the patio is bathed in sunlight. Now just the huge rubber tree to attack and then my whirlygig will see the sun!
Yes sisters are a boon. Mine is busy shopping for all the things I have ordered for their visit in October. Don't have to hire mine out, she's out and about and interfering all the time, helping others whether they want help or not!! Can't wait for winter.

I was early to bed last night and early to rise .Makes you healthy ,wealthy and wise .None of which applies to me.Looks like another fine day according to the forecast.
We must have talked up the bosom squasher .I got an appt come through yesterday for one in a couple of weeks time .I thought it was due.
