Electricity In Dubai?

Can anyone confirm that the electricity in Dubai is 220v, and that the plugs are the same as UK ie 3 pin? Thank you.

It's blowing a gale here although it's not cold .I'm off to town to get my eyes tested shortly.I might ask them to test my head at the same time.
I think Trump needs his head tested and his mouth.
If I get hair frizz after using this new expensive shampoo I want my money back :)

Hello. I got up late, decided to wash our bedding, so did a small load which was waiting. Then found the cat had weed or whatever cos of the smell. So washed the loose throws on settee washed settee and everything else. Sprayed carpets , oh I can't begin to tell you. Gets me down. So after 2 loads I get the sheets on, wish I hadn't bothered. Went shopping for extras for the Hija. Found some tea cakes in a Dutch shop so bought 3 packets. Put washing in drier 3 loads as sky dark. Did ironing. Swabbed the house again, smelly cat I can't stand yukky smells. Finally got round to making up my clean bed. Am shattered. Now have tobdecide what to cook for dinner.

....and three more bites last night. Not sure if they are actually bites as there's no puncture mark. May be hives but is driving me mad. Hang around for weeks even after I've scratched them ( deep joy) the scabs are there for another week or so. Getting fed up. Wonder if its the new vitamin pills I'm taking!

been down to the car supermarket and arranged to buy a Honda, which we'll pick up in a couple of days. Just walked straight past the Lexus and BMW sections.

missing my sister today, she left this morning....she had to get a taxi to the coach station because Shughy was too weather upset to be left alone or to get in the car......I HATE it.

And I walked past all the designer frames at the opticians.
Didn't need new all round ones but have now got reading glasses and distance ones for the tele.So got cheap frames and bottle bottom lenses as will only be wearing them indoors .
So I'll have three pairs on the go and will probably be looking for them half the time .He found the beginning of a cataract but will cross that bridge when I come to it and have been advised to use drops and eye wash regularly for the dryness.

No rain here and although it was very overcast it was quite warm out .Still lots of grockles in town, mostly old biddys like me ..lol. End of season cheapo breaks I suppose.

Morning. Whatever us going on, we had another humongous storm in the night. Pool overflowed. Cat came in dripping wet, Hija came in at 4am dripping wet ( obviously love interest didn't go too well). I then worried all night about her flight to Dubai as couldn't see she had time to get of one plane check in , passport and security in 40 mins. But I got the time wrong so all that was for nothing. Loads of huge spots again

Mr N has finally "pruned" the huge rubber tree, it's only a little twig now! My whirlygig drier has lost half its stand and although useable it very low and if I swing it round, I will knock myself in the face. But that will be sorted. Washing machine error EO3 filter needs emptying, so can't open the door. Trying to sort hija whomis like a bear with a sore eh ad, I've escaped to my bedroom. Dinner out tonight so I can stay in the bedroom., as no need to cook!

Hello all
Lovely sunny day here,warm in the sun .Summer still seems to keep stuttering along.We've been to Tesco and I bought a bottle of that melon drink and some Galvanina.Got a few other things but what we actually went there for we forget to get.Coffee.
Mr S has gone back to get it.He loves travelling about on the bus .I don't ,there's no leg room on these new ones and fit young men seem to think it's ok to sit in the seats reserved for people with mobility problems and put their feet up on the seats opposite .Grrrrrr.

right, I have been to an embroidery exhibition, arranged insurance for the new car, booked a redelivery of a mystery parcel from overseas, taken delivery of a new passport, ordered some documents showing one of my ancestors applying for a job at an asylum, and bought some bananas. I expect there are more things on my list but my eyes are blurring.

busy busy. I am having my post flu vac reaction.......every year I forget then around 24 hours after I get vac’d I feel achey and get a stomach upset. I wonder what the heck is going on and then I go oh I remember its the flu vac. If I am thinking myself into it then its really clever because I think myself into it while I have forgotten about it.
