Hi, I am planning to travel to the USA next year, we have booked a three centre holiday, San Francisco, Las Vegas and LA. My son is 14, what are the laws regarding him being in licensed premises, ie. for eating (I know that he cant drink) and what areas of the Casino's is he allowed into. Also I have read that everywhere closes on 4th July. does this inclde the restaurants/diners etc. and what can we expect to be going on in Las Vegas that day.

Thanks

I once let my one-year-old baby pull a lever on a slot machine in Vegas and was instantly surrounded by security men telling me I'd broken the law. Can't give you specific answers, sorry, but do be careful. You may be able to buy an AK47 over the counter at Woolworths, but they're very fussy about drinking and gambling by minors.
