Ummm... at the risk of interrupting something really important, there is an unanswered question midst all the foll-de-roll... just in case you're still interested... A man named Chris owned "Chris Steak House," but sold it to Ruth Fertel in 1965. He agreed she could keep the prestigious name, on the condition the restaurant had to stay in the same spot. In 1976, a fire burned the place to the ground, and she had to move. Unfortunately she had to come up with a new name, which would have been devastating.. so in a move that horrified marketing consultants, she added her name. So "Ruth's Chris Steak House" is born!!
