whats the best hotel to stay in in Vegas?

Looking to go to USA in April me and the wife and would like to spend 4/5 days in Vegas which would be for our anniversary then we would fly to Tampa and meet my folks . We have been before and stayed at the Mandalay Bay resort and also the Signature (MGM) but wondering if anyone has stayed at the Bellagio or the Ventian. Was last there 2 years ago so not sure if there are any new ones on the strip.

The USA certainly wouldn't be in my top 50 holiday destinations (and probably not in my top 100). Even if I went there with all expenses paid you'd still have to drag me kicking and screaming to Las Vegas, so I'm certainly not knowledgeable in this area!

4-5 days is probably a little long in LV - you can do it easily in 3 unless you are a serious gambler. My favourity is the Wynn. It is classy. If you want kitch then Luxor orVenetian is good. I really didn't like NY NY, it was dark and dingy.

Relatives of mine stayed at the Holiday Inn express. It is off the strip but they couldnt fault the hotel.They went for their anniversary, priced up the big casino hotels but couldnt justify the cost.

the imperial palace on the strip is very good, have stayed there couple of times,and reasonable priced also

Las Vegas is so lively that you will hardly use your Hotel, so I would say it doesn't really matter.

We stayed at the bellagio last summer - couldn't fault it! The pool area was outstanding, food great throughout and the room very clean and spacious and the bathroom - HUGE!

Jayne the pain has got it in one....the Bellagio.

Vegas....fantastic....noisy, throbbing , vibrant, exciting, OTT, vulgar and spattered with delectable debauchery. I loved every second of it.....4 days is adequate.
