Will I Need My Thermal Vest?

Going to a wedding tomorrow up the Yorkshire Dales and the reception will be held in a marquee. Does anyone know if these things are heated or will I have to wear a thermal vest under my posh frock?

I know St Chad's Middlesmoor very well leah and you're right, that view down the dale over Gouthwaite Reservoir is one of the best views in Nidderdale. If you want to rent a lovely cottage on the edge of the reservoir let me know and I can give you a couple of recommendations. There is so much to see and do you really must go back. I was lucky enough to live there for a number of years and regret leaving.

The Western Dales tend to be an overcoat warmer than further East. Where our kids were brought up it was quite mild, though the top of Ingleborough, more or less in the back garden carried a snowcap for weeks.

Oh! and the birding was great, ladybirder, but we moved to the East Coast for promotion and stayed on after retiring.

Ladybirder, my daughter has a wooden built lodge in Pately Bridge.
and I have stayed there many times but I am ashamed to say that this is the first time I have been up the dale. Needless to say it won't be the last.

The birding is fantastic in Nidderdale as well sd. Got friends at Flamborough and Port Mulgrave on the east coast so know that area a bit as well and like it very much. But nowhere can beat The Yorkshire Dales for me.
