I previously posted a question regarding my xp problems but now it appears that i have another problem. I had NTL broadband installed and i have tried to install the disk that i was given at the time but it tells me that my pc does'nt support USB and that i need to purchase an Ethernet Card! Does anyone know why it is telling me this and what i can do?
Thanks

Do you have any USB connected devices ? eg. printer, camera, memory stick ? Are these working ?
You can look in Settings->Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager and check the USB category for any yellow exclamation marks.
You are better off using Ethernet vs. USB for NTL broadband. Again - check the above under Network Adapters.
It is relatively cheap (circa. 5) for a Ethernet card and you should simply be able to install it into a spare slot in the PC. XP should do the rest. With Ethernet, there should be no need to load the NTL software - simply connect it to the NTL modem.
