Being hung drawn and quartered is too good for this man but being realistc surely the death penalty, after a reasonable amount of time behnd bars thinking about the impending outcome.
There is no way he should be allowed to live; evil beyond words.
I did, and I trust that you will take any comments about another thread onto that thread, and not continue them on here.
Returning to this discussion, I do not want anyone to be 'civilised', or to 'be' anything - my views are mine, I do not seek to influence or speak for anyone else.
Snowflake liberals ?.....You are making this up as you go YMB !
I don't support the death penalty and never will, and we have discussed the issue many times here on AB.
Yes, he appears to be an extremely evil individual, but the offence was not committed on these shores, so its up to the Chinese to make their own decision in this case.
Look at what Mamy, Eddie and Andy have posted, amongst others, and I am in agreement with them.
I wouldn't want to do anything to him ymb, but I can understand your revulsion, a vile vile man indeed. Let him rot away in jail for the rest of his days pondering on what he has done.
My position for as long as I have been an adult - and repeated dozens of times on here - is to trust in the legal system to do the right thing, and to steer my head away from thinking too much about the individual concerned.
Pondering what 'I might like to do to him / her / them ...' hurts my head, so I avoid it at all costs.
Some interpret that position with being a lily-livered liberal wheelbarrow knitter - but that is simply a misunderstanding on their part.
