Can someone tell me how long it takes for gascentral heating to get through to the radiators please.

Things to take into consideration are system design, boiler size, radiator sizes, pipe sizes, also, whether the pump is performing as it should. Generally though, if everything is O.K., your radiators should start to warm a couple of minutes after the boiler has fired.

gina......if the temperature in the room is higher than the setting on your thermostic valve then that radiator will not heat up at all. That's the whole idea of pre-setting your comfort level.....you may need to turn the valve up to [say 4] and as pilotlight says the heat should come through in a couple of minutes.
