Nope, but I do think that chapter needs to be closed now..sadly...
No, for the simple reason they don't prove anything.
It won't happen. But what would it achieve piggynose?
Some things don't add up with this case but they are not under arrest and I can't see a reason to close the case
No.
no
No.
I would say no but if it satisfies the nasty people that think they are Guilty, they should do it to shut those people up once and for all.
To what end?

I don't think there's any dispute about what happened. The discrepancy surrounds what the McCanns thought was acceptable in the care of their child and what others thought.
I agree with NJ.
Yes they bloody damn well should, after ax payers have given these negligent parents £ 12 million, i don't see any other missing child parents getting the same treatment like these two have had...and lets not forget the McCann's had once requested to take a lie detector test then refused to do one??? Also why didn't Kate answer the 48 questions...All you need to do is read the PJ police files for those on here who choose to ignore The true FACTS on this case!!

And like the Portuguese supreme Judges have recently said - the McCann's have not been cleared of any wrong doing?
Lie detectors are not allowed in evidence as they are not reliable, so it would prove nothing. You can train yourself to lie on a lie detector and not have it register as a lie, any accomplished con man does it as a matter of routine.
No......... and until this case I would not, in all honesty, have worried about leaving a sleeping child for a couple of hours in a respectable hotel room patrolled by a child-minding service either.
We have had this discussion recently, not about the McCanns but about lie detectors. They measure stress, specifically stress levels raised above the normal level for the individual involved. They do not detect lies or the truth.
There was not a room controller, the parents checked on the children .
// And ...the Portuguese supreme Judges have recently said - the McCanns have not been cleared of any wrong doing?//

yeah I wondered about that
considering the idea is 'innocent until proven guilty'
but there could be elements of the Code Napoleon - the investigating judge may form an opinion of 'guilty/triable ' = [coupable] and then you are charged

Denning when he was just about out of it - said of the Brum bombers now know to have been framed ( but Denning didnt know that: 'nothing to do with me if the police decide to lie to me' and all that sort of thing]said " have they let them out ? But they havent proven they were innocent!'
This caused 50 appeals to be lodged the next day - on the grounds that Denning didnt know the criteria for overturning a conviction.
( that the conviction was unsafe and NOT that the defendants had proven they hadnt dunnit)

clearly portuguese law is different to english

why we dont just go straignt for broke
and demand their hands are chopped off
( th McCanns and not the Judges)

They are highly unreliable....so what would that prove ?
