Hot Washing

I have a washing machine that has one water pipe and it is connected to the cold tap however the washing comes out hot so it is handy creased. Can you advise me please?

Most modern machines have only a cold connection, you have to set the required temperature on the control panel.

The washing machine heats the cold water up to the temp that you have set it to soo 30 or 40 or 50 etc etc, either program it or turn the dial to reduce the temp.

As Donny says your machine will be cold fill but it has a heating element inside which will heat the water to the temperature you have selected. I don't know why the washing is coming out hot after it's been rinsed and spun it's usually cooled by then.

surely it rinsed in cold water a few times before finishing the load ??

What program are you using for your wash ?

Best advice would be to read your washing machine's manual. What were you hoping for, a cold wash ? If you state what machine you have someone might be able to advise you better.
