Well, I have just eagerly opened the paper and guess what? My heart sank! An alphabetical!
I despair. I can't ever do these. I have worked out a couple of answers but there's no help anywhere, 'cos you can't put them in the grid.
At the moment, I have a piece of A4 paper with the letters of the alphabet written down the side and have answers for four clues.
Shall I just keep going with the clues?
Any help on offer, please. I really would like to give this a go.
Hi Tilly
Sadly for me the theme that I can see is makes and models of cars. I got" e- type "first for Some crotchety pensioner (1-4)
I'm stuck on S
Seating that is backed by little chap with pastries left out for He ry (4,6) it's a car as I have sea scout for other S clue
The 4 letter answers are joined with other answers to form the model and make of car. E.g. I have Hillman for second H and imp for first I making up a 10 letter space in grid. Hope that helps.
