Outlander

Having read a lot of good things about this series, when I saw that it was finally being shown (tonight, onMore4) on terrestrial television, I thought I'd give it a go. After a slow start, it perked up a bit when she got to 1743, but I wasn't wholly convinced by it. Does anyone who's seen the whole thing think it's worth persevering with? Have to say I found the amount of adverts unbearable: there seemed to be a lot more than usual, and if I keep watching I might record it so I can zip through them.

The first episode seemed quite good so i`ll continue watching - its up to 3 series in the States I think - Catrionia Balfe is very easy on the eyes....
