If the answer is yes, then why, will it be beneficial to Europe, or disastrous for Europe but beneficial for them?

That may well be yours and my answer, but hold on this thread is only in it's early stages.
The EU just has no clue how to handle these swarms, glad we are leaving!
On the news they were speaking to some of these migrants. One fella said he was from Morocco and there was no work so he wants to get to Europe. So it begs the question, why does he have to come on an illegal dinghy ?

With this ongoing influx of mass cheap labour, one can see Europe's reluctance to do anything about this migrant problem.
No!

Shout it thrice 'Economic, Economic, Economic!'

(The Tripoli effect!)
'The EU just has no clue how to handle these swarms, glad we are leaving!'

What a strange attitude. Our leaving won't stop it Tora and the same proportion will probably make it to our shores.
Tora, I've just clocked AOGs other post in which you write:
'I think Italy needs help from the EU as a whole'

Bit contradictory dontcha think?

of its usual adolescent lunacy

we ? WE ? should we be letting them into Europe - places such as Italy or Lesbos. Well I have news for you AOG.... the Brits (we) arent - they are a thousand or so miles away

as for a motorboat invasion of the Chesil Beach... it has yet to come

Normal day on AB ....

oh ! 'we' means someone else ? yeah fine ....
Genuine refugees may apply and will be accepted, wholeheartedly. Others (migrants) must lodge application papers, as do people from the rest of the world. If they do not do this, they must return to their own - or wherever they set out from. This format must, MUST be applied.
^^^6 I typed 'own countries'.
