There was a new guy down at the metal detectorists club, he had a brand new state of the art, all singing all dancing metal detector that cost him an arm and a leg.
On his first field trip, he was getting strong signals all day long but what he couldn't figure out was, after a full days digging, all he had unearthed was a couple of ring pulls, while other members had found quite a few roman coins and various other gems.
Looking sad as he packed his gear away, a fellow member inquired : "those boots you have on, they wouldn't have steel toe-caps would they ?"
