Maria locked in her Hotel Room,screaming for help,gets rescued by a waiter. Every Hotel I've been in they have a 'phone direct to Reception,why did she not use that? I know it is not real by the way.

Exactly what I said to my husband! But I think she was locked in the bathroom and maybe there wasn't a phone in there, though posh hotels like that usually do have a phone in the bathroom

She was in the bathroom , funnily we were at that same venue for a family wedding this week-end, and the room Maria was locked in was the one my husband & I stayed in , definitely no phone in the bathroom.

Rita's illness is a very sad storyline but it was lovely to see her entertaining the patients. Very well written.

Now that Toyah's back apparently do we know what happened to Spider? I really liked him. Are they bringing the old characters back because of falling viewing numbers? I watched for the first time last week and hardly recognised anyone. Have they killed off the Eileen Derbyshire character, can't recall her name?
