mouse problems

my mouse pointer keeps freezing, i have change batts,
just done same thing. can any body advize me what I can do. thanks.

the mouse is "cordless" - I assume ?
Do you have the latest drivers installed
Try switching off - replacing the mouse with an old corded one - then run the PC then reboot - then off again - replace the cordless one - reboot again and try again - don't ask me why - I get the same problem on occasion....

Which type of Bat are you using at the moment ... if it's a cricket bat then that could be your problem ...
