Did We Have A Good Summer ?

considering the heat wave of 1976, what do aber's make of this summer gone, i think it was pretty good...not like 76 i remember that one, who else remembers that ..thats a second question.

This summer has been nice. Not too hot, not too wet.

The music has been rubbish though.

I don't remember '76, but 2003 was sweltering. I had a baby at the end of that July- it wasn't great timing!

We were spoiled in the seventies. So much good stuff to listen to.

I remember 1976 very well, this year has been nothing like it, unfortunately.

I can clearly remember 1976. It was very hot and very dry, so 2017 doesn't really bear any resemblance.

But May and June this year were very nice, and parts of July as well, so, all in all, a pretty good summer.

I remember in 1976, we used to play in the local chuch becasue it was so cool in there. The countryside was wilting under the heat

I know I'm a bit late to this but I think it's been a rubbish summer. Now 1976, no rose tinted glasses but what a summer, met the woman of my dreams, spent a month together in France and came back engaged. That went down well with the outlaws to be. First question they asked of OH, are you pregnant, charming. Life together has had difficult times but I'm so grateful for 1976.

I don't remember 1976 particularly, although I should; I was six years old and had a fear of being tanned, in contrast to my middle years when I slathered myself in oil to catch the sun.

We didn't have a great summer this year if you're looking for hot weather. I quite liked it. Not too hot. Now it's winter. Lovely :)) Happy.

haven't read of all the posts but must say that every year when I hear on this site - that they are too hot, oh god, it is so blumming hot - oh I can't stick it - this is maybe for a cuppla weeks

if anybody can go back to any site I have posted - I always say "I love the heat" because we don't get enough of it it - and we don't

I love the heat when I'm on holiday, but not when I have to go to work and then come home and sweat in my armchair and bed.
I know we moan whether it's hot, cold, rainy, windy or whatever. What else are we going to start a conversation with? ;)

I remember the glorious Summer of '76 (it was pretty hot in '75 too,'cos I was pregnant with 1st sprog). Spent a lot of '76 trying to keep her cool and unburnt.
