Children Abroad
I have two boys from a previous marriage. They live 30 miles away and I pick them up every other weekend and take them back on the Sunday. My ex wife has now announced that she intends to move to Spain and take the children with her. They are 8 and 12. Can she do this without my consent.

Hi,
My boyfriend has a 4 year old daughter with his ex & she threatened to move abroad with her a few months ago, he went straight to his solicitor & was in court within weeks & she had papers served on her to say that she couldn't take her without his consent. But, if he hadn't done this & had the papers (don't remember exactly what it's called!) then i think she could have taken her.
So i would speak to a solicitor quickly if i was you.

Sorry I can't offer any practical advice but just sympathy for your situation. I also have two boys aged 8 and 12 and I would be devastated if I couldn't see them.
I wonder how your boys would feel about not seeing you. I know my boys would never forgive their mother if she took them away from me!
Good luck!
