One of my close friends is the worst (or perhaps the best) 'vegetarian' out there. She eats chicken, pork and beef... to name a few.

Whilst she acknowledges she isn't a real vegetarian (obviously) she does actively reduce her meat intake, probably only having meat a few days a week, which to be honest, I think I agree with!

Does anyone else feel like they eat too much meat? Or is it a case of the more the merrier!

Dont the fish either 'drown' in the air or are crushed at the bottom of the net. Or have a ruddy big hook through the mouth?

Meat or fish pretty much every meal for me.
Chicken, fish but definitely no red meat .Haven't done so for 40 years.

They do.

I didn't say that the argument is valid, just that it is the argument offered by pescatarians to justify eating fish.
//but fish are not farmed and caught without undue cruelty//

.....not been to Norway, eh Andy?
Mikey...I'm just not a fan of meat. No moral reason. My mum gave me a choice, either eat meat or don't eat meat, one or the other, so I chose not to. She was sick of cooking me food I wouldn't eat. Although I didn't eat meat I'd happily eat the gravy made with meat juices.
Seafood are treated awfully. They're pulled out of the water and handled shockingly. If cattle were treated the same way people would be prosecuted for animal cruelty.

As I said, I am merely offering the argument as it stands.

I didn't say that it stands up to scrutiny - I believe it doesn't, or that I support it as an argument, I don't.
