bit of cheese on top and lightly grilled crumpets....ahhhhhh
I used to get pikelets from Tesco when our boys were little and needed filling up after school, have not seen them for a while - but then I don't go to Tesco's any more. We live just south of the Scottish Border. Like the others say, pikelets are thinner than English crumpets
We sell pikelets in Morrisons' Taichi.
I am very disappointed. I misread the the title of this thread as Strumpets.
^^^ Not a lot of difference from 'a nice bit of crumpet' anyway, surely Jack?
