Looks like yet another banking up ckoc. Doesn't surprise me TBH, I see it every day, "management" know best, trying to cut costs. I don't know the tech cause yet but pound to pinch of tish it'll be some outsourced function without a scooby do, who are "cheap". Penny wise, pound foolish etc!

Seems pretty clear what TTT is on about. Baks have been cutting corners by sacking Western workers, particularly in IT, and outsourcing to other countries. So anyhoo, now the distracting whingers and trolls have hopefully bowed out of the thread, it looks like this situation is still on going.

I guess the IT dept at TSB hasn't had much sleep recently. I'd probably agree that this sort of thing is to do with cost cutting, and unreasonable timescales being demanded by people whose bonus depends on something being delivered by a certain (unrealistic) date.
Just been announced that TSB has had to resort to parachuting a top tech team from IBM.
..which will not be cheap. Neither will the compensation they have to pay, or the lost income from charges which would have been applicable and now aren't. Short sighted counter productive cost cutting.
