While browsing the web, I came across an exceptionally well-written blog from a guy who clearly loves his beers but who also really knows how to use a camera (and who isn't afraid to express some personal opinions!).

If it was published as a book I'd certainly buy a copy. (Indeed, I'd probably buy a few more copies, as gifts for friends, too). So I thought that it might appeal to one or two people here. (Dave? Tony?)

(I found that blog through this reference to the pub where my grandfather would, quite literally, sing for his beer: https://retiredmartin.com/2015/11/08/jaywick-reborn/ )

Thanks Chris, looks like an interesting read.
That’s very interesting and entertaining, Chris - I’ve just spent half an hour pottering around the blog and will return for some more

Cheers
Thanks, glad you enjoy it. Any comments on the posts and pubs always welcome. I'm visiting all the Good Beer Guide pubs but will always drag our campervan back to the wonderful Essex coast for a recommendation.

No book, although I'd like to preserve the blog in a physical form at some point in case the internet explodes !
Welcome to the site.
(You're not Buenchico's alter ego, are you ?)
hey you look at the piccy and think
no wonder late King George said.....bigger bognor !

talking about living hand to mouth
trevithick ( yeah the steam fella )[ cornishman - an impt pt] went to Newfoundland and didnt do well in a steam enterprise
so was reduced to wrestling for his supper. - went to a pub and said anyone who subdues me gets his dinner otherwise I get mine.

clue - the national provincial sport of Newfoundland is wrestling and was also a popular cornish pasttime - trevithick was big.

and James Watt heard of it and sent him his far home.
oops sorry about that
That Bognor pub looks really er good !
