OG, //They can't even sort out an edit facility :-( //

Why can’t you do what other people do …. type your answer into a Word document, check it, and copy and paste it into the answer box? This is a fuss over nothing. The rest of us seem to manage.
Dinner parties are expected to end. They don't go on forever demanding more and more as they progress. The analogy doesn't work for me. It's not a divorce either. It's a club and a member is opting not to remain.
I doubt many folk do and it's an unreasonable expectation.
OG, Why is it unreasonable? You have a problem that no one else seems to be complaining about. That is an easy solution.
An easy solution would be to have an edit facility. Or I can post corrections underneath.
Posting corrections underneath seems a longer process to me, but your choice.
And me. Especially when you seem to get so irate, OG. Simply read the post before submitting it or, go by my previous advice and accept that people will probably still 'get' what you mean without a correction. An edit facility will not (and should never be) happen on a good debating site.
OG, 99.9% of the time I find it is very very easy to see what you meant and I'm sure I can't be alone in this.

There really is no need to keep posting corrections after every other post. Honestly theres not.

Sorry JD.
I don't know how this thread has gone so far off topic, but some sites have a short-term editing facility, so you've got three minutes or whatever to edit a post. This ought to be sufficient to allow genuine corrections but not enough to allow abuse of the facility. But I'm not bothered either way; if I miss typos, so be it.
Boris gone now. Resigned.
Boris is another Cat.
Is he preparing for a leadership challenge?
Certainly preparing for a No Confidence vote in May, with DD.
O-G I don't know how to type in Word and copy and paste to here, so I'd like a bit of an edit facility - a minute would be long enough. Anyway now Boris has joined Davis the situation has changed.
Not your fault of course OG?.
