Phones, Tv's And Pc's Without A Landline

can i run smartphones tv's and pc's without paying monthly for a landline, i'm sure there must be a way by using an old smartphone as a hot spot/router?? i follow several youtubers that seem to do this but they are in the U.S and may be running on systems that aren't available to us here in U.K yet thanks for any advice. p.s i live less than 200 yards from a 500 ft TV mast carrying most mobile transmitters so signal not a problem.

I can only speak for PCs as I have no other devices, but try googling mobile dongles and see if anything suits your needs.

Thanks both for your replies, ZM I’ll have a look at the link you’ve given later I’m sure it’ll be interesting reading. Also thanks jackdaw33 I’ll definitely look into mobile dongles, in fact I’ve got a gadget in my cupboard that takes a SIM card and gives me WiFi so maybe I’ve already got one. Again thanks both
