In instruction leaflet for a 12 V air compressor bought in Lidl (marked Paget Trading Ltd - Woodrow) item no. 6827 air pressure is given as 15 bar. However, on accompanying tech specs it says 20 bar. Anyone know which is correct?

One bar is about 14 psi. What's the problem? - you appear to have a compressor with more oomph behind it than you thought you did. Maybe Lidl conservatively rated it.
Since even 14 Bar represents over 200 psi, I don't think there'll be a problem in using it to pump up your tyres.
