Went to see them the other night. Yes they're a tribute band. Yes they're Ozzies. Yes I realise this isn't a question.

But if you are a Floyd fan, GO SEE THEM!! Absolutely blew me away. I've seen a few dire PF tributes, but these guys had me in tears.

Anyone else seen them??

I've seen Think Floyd twice at Bedford Corn Exchange, I thought they were 'OK', until I saw this lot. No comparison. They actually have a number of ex PF crew and engineers working for them.

They are note for note perfect.

Hey BDW !

I've seen them 5 times now ! AWESOME !!
I'm hoping to see them again in Liverpool in a couple of months time. Actually only a couple of them now are aussies due to changes in their line up over the years, the drummer is from Rochdale !
Don't know about you, but occasionally whilst i'm listening to them i forget they are actually a tribute band ! I got the DVD from when they played Liverpool in 2004, they sell it at each gig, and I promise you it's well worth the 15.

Loved the cheeky little Ozzy references. When merging from 'Have a Cigar' to 'Wish you were here' they play a radio tuning into various Australian soap opera tunes.

Also turned the music from the beginning of The Wall into Waltzing Matilda.

The girl who sang Great Gig in the Sky reduced me to a blubbering wreck.

Amazing isn't she !!
It's true though, I honestly get a lump in my throat when she does it. How does a song do that !!!!!!

Went to the Royal Albert Hall, this was the first time I'd seen them and thought they were brillant, well worth the money.

I had wanted to see Think Floyd but don't know whether to bother because the scale of the production put on, I don't think any other Floyd tribute band could compete with it.

I couldnt agree more! I have seen them twice now and saw them in Brighton in April and they are the nuts! I would recommend them to anyone who loves the Floyd. They played at Dave Gilmours party at his request and it ended up as a big jam session with Dave Gilmour and i think Mason and Wright on stage with them!which must have been a buzz for the Aussie Floyd! The DVD that you can get from their website is fantastic too and well worth a watch.

I have seen both APF and TF and while both are very good I think APF shade it.

I would recommend Off The Wall too (I think thats the name) are excellant too.The female vocalist is just magic.

I have seen both TAPF and TF and both do rock although the last TF concert I saw in Folkstone was excellant.
Think Floyd are slightly differant with the female singer but boy are they good.

When any of these play in the south east I usually go and all compare to the real thing.
