Azed & Everyman

I always try to do the weekly AZED and EVERYMAN crosswords. Can someone explain why there are always lots of questions on EVERYMAN in AnswerBank and Crossword Help Forum but never any on AZED?

Perhaps because the Everyman is an easier puzzle people know that they are more likely to get help from a forum?

Fewer people do the Azed? I've not looked at one for years, only when it's asked here.

AZED does get asked though not as often as Everyman.

In order to solve Azed you need a lot of time and an open copy of Chambers dictionary and be prepared to come up with plausible answers and then find if the words actually exist ! Many of the words are Scottish or archaic and I suspect that most people don't have the time or inclination to slog away at it. I can usually solve only about 5 of the clues from the top of my head.
