petrol problem

i have a 1.1 and its using loads of petrol abut 26 miles 2 the gallon . also it runs onsometimes when i switch off i have put redex in with petrol but it has made no differance what could be the problem please help

Running a bit rich maybe, adjust the mixture on the carburettor.

Get it electronically checked and tuned by, say Home Tune,who will isolate and correct the problem including doing many other checks and adjustments - all for about �30-35.
