The President cleared the room when he admitted taking hydroxychloroquine.
He had also found a doctor to prescribe it

and MY question is : if a relative did that and died - would you complain to the authorities ( GMC and courts here ) that the doctor had NOT acted in the patients ( your relative that is!) best interests and should pay you ( the estate ) much moolah and lose his licence

A paper has to be pretty flawed to make some one unwrite a paper. it was a look-back and I thought the authors had looked back themselves in the notes

Instead they used prescribing info gained from the pharma companies. so I think I agree -

I dont think it is false spicey

there are only seven kinds of medical naughtiness in medical paper writing - no I will not specify ( false data - data pruning - ghost authorship, funny reviewing etc )

and this APPEARS to be he thought they had done it one way and when he found out they had done it another way he said o no my signature is NOT on that !

which I am afraid is near to gift authorship - naughty naughty any author is meant to have greater monitor and control than that

The problem with crappy or cross-eyed medical reporting (cow dung cures schizophrenia shock) is that the result cannot be striking or important or else the above happens
