I'm not totally convinced it's necessarily anti semetic as written but in the context of things Peake had said previously it could be perceived as being part of an underlying theme. Keir Starmer probably wanted such an opportunity and took it. He also knows decisive action will look good with the electorate compared to Boris's position on Cummings and Jenrick- although the case of Jenrick may ultimately lead to his stepping down
