Good Morning Early Birds!
97 Answers
Thursday. I went for my dental appointment at the notified time yesterday, to be told I was a day early. I showed the receptionist the entry in my diary, she tried to say that was wrong. I told her to look at the mail sent to me. She tried to fluff it, but I was having none of it, she eventually agreed that I was right, they had changed the day, but hadn't informed me. I've got to go back today, not a happy bunny as I've had to re-arranged something today!
Whinge over.
Still got wall to wall cloud. Yer wee man on the idiot box is saying it's not going to change today.
Nothing else to moan about, so have a happy day everyone. :o}

I'm not convinced that some receptionists know what they're doing at times, but if you say anything to them, they refer you to the notice about abuse of staff. Just because you want to make a point, it's called abuse these days. Hey ho.
Today is an important day as I will be placing some flowers on my mates' grave on the 21st anniversary of his death. We knew each other from infant school. Grew up together, went to each others weddings. A massive shock when he died at only 51. His wife maintains that his job killed him, as he used to be a senior prison officer at Strangeways. He was caught up in the riots in 1991 and was one of the three officers who had run and run down unlit tunnels under Manchester and was there for three days without food or water. She said he was never the same person and I'd agree. So some nice for him. I'll never forget him. Sorry folks, there are lots of prob lems out there aren't there?
