Do You Feed The Birds?

Do you feed the wild birds? I always have done but not so many people seem to these days. Ive always pastry scraps, fat balls, and dried meal worms for them that I put out every day.

Ive never thought to put pasta out for them. I will give it a try.The blackbirds are very fond of sultanas, especially if they have been soaked in water first to make them swell Ithe sultanas-not the birds! ha)

They also love chips!

I used to feed the birds and pigeons because we only had a few :) only it soon turned into the Birds film and as soon as we opened the back door about 50 pigeons swooped down and they left an awful mess on the window ledges and the washing so that had to stop ! I had to leave the living room curtains closed for several weeks because I felt so guilty for not feeding them any more. Moving forward a few years decided to have bird feeders in garden which was ok until the squirrels decided to move in on them and would rip them apart and steal all the nuts in one day! so that had to stop as well because I noticed that the seeds and nuts that would fall to the ground was attracting mice. So now feed nobody well except for the cat who lives a couple of doors up, she is not causing any problems as yet lol
