Trolling

Look at yourself Meghan before you wonder why that is.

^^^^^ That is ridiculous. Some people, like Mary Beard, have been mercilessly Trolled -and she is hardly Kim Kardashian is she? Trolls ,like celebrities, feed on publicity -starve either by ignoring them and they get forgotten about.

Trolling is the downside of social media, and it thrives because it is easy to carry out, and comeback is virtually zero.

If feeds the unpleasant side of human nature, and a large aspect of that connected to social media is the dislike and jealousy of celebrity.

But as advised by the majority on here, being famous does not mean you simply have to suck up abuse that is aimed at you by keyboard strangers - it is unacceptable and a climate of acceptance and tolerance simply grows the problem.

I don't think the Duchess is the 'most trolled person in the world', but the fact that she is trolled at all is wrong and should not be excused or condoned as it is by some on here, based on a similar disdain that feeds the trolling in the first place.
