I used to own a hamster just like that for a while, a few years ago. (I believe the common term for them is "dwarf hamster") I'm sure it used to do similar tricks too, but smaller pets like rodents only last for about 2 years at the most. I wouldn't be able to live through the heart break of another pet like that if I got myself another one.
I still love them all the same though.

Put 'funny animals' in the You Tube searcher john, and there will be quite a few, mainly daft cats...I'm always a bit wary of public videos......
