I recently applied a weed killer on my lawn, which states 'Kills the weeds, not the grass'. However my lawn is now yellow. Will the grass grow back?

Thank you all in advance

It might help people here if you tell us which weed killer you used.
Interested to hear answers. Cos I don’t understand how a poison can differentiate between the two,,.. but yes lots of weed killers do say that
Did you spray just the weeds or the grass as well
Selective weedkillers are not really that smart, it's all about the type of leaf, it comes into contact with. Plants like grass are waxy, so herbicides tend to run off the leaves but some of it may penetrate.
Personally, I prefer to leave it to nature.
