Greenpeace Parachute Stunt
Anyone see this? Although I support them on environment matters, sometimes they don't help themselves with dumbass stunts like this.

It was just stupid. He injured two people and now Greenpeace has profusely apologised, correctly.

Mozz: "Dave, while I appreciate what you're saying, I think the shoot first attitude is completely unnecessary in this instance. He landed on the pitch, it would've been simple for police, armed or otherwise, to meet him upon landing. He wasn't going to get far was he?" - what if he exploded just before landing with a huge bomb surrounded by nails etc? I'd have shot the plonker and asked questions later.
Look, he was an idiot, I said it was a dumbass stunt in the OP, but executing anyone being a dumbass because they might be a terrorist, despite a lack of evidence to confirm it? That's utterly ridiculous. It would have made interesting live television. Bringing public executions to the 21st Century.
Thomas Harris, author of The Silence 0f The Lambs, wrote a book called "Black Sunday" with a similar plot - suicide bomber plans to fly a blimp into the middle of the Superbowl, and detonate it:

A good read (but nowhere near as good as The Silence Of The Lambs).
