I cut them in half and remove them as I don't like seeds, but I don't think they will do you any harm, or taste bitter or anything.

I don't eat them, they get stuck between my teeth. I throw them out for the birds they seem to eat them.

Apparently the hottest part of a pepper is the seeds.
